The 2015 ‘Grand Gathering’ will take place from Monday 7 September until Monday 14 September.
Everyone is welcome to Melin Dolwion at this time to share food, music, creativity and community.
For those returning to the mill we are sure you will be impressed with the improvements that have been made to the spaces over the past year.
For the uninitiated, we expect you will fall in love with the space as many have done, and will continue to do so.
We have lots of different spaces where people can stay in the mill or you are welcome to pitch a tent in the garden.
Although the essence of the gathering is improvisation – so expect the unexpected – we’d love it if you could let us know if you are coming so we can make plans about where to put you all.
Donations are welcomed but are not compulsory!
‘The Gathering is a space, place and time where we can build up confidence in our creativity; where we can sit in silence, sing, play an instrument, draw, be poetic; prophetic; we could talk in tongues, talk to each other, to ourselves, talk to voices. We can listen, make sounds; melodies and noise, soft and loud; leave space, fill it up; explore rhythm and time, chaos and rhyme; lullabies and laments; shyly and boldly be in our different rhythms together.’
