Every year, from the first Monday in September for a week, Melin Dolwion hosts the Gathering, a continuous celebration of improvisation, creativity, community and expressive diversity.
As this post is being typed three gatherers sit around a kitchen table using whatever is to hand as percussion instruments: steel fruit bowls, voices, water bottles and other handheld rhythm-making devices. A gentle cacophony weaves, stretches and disappears.
